Classes are designed for everybody. We believe that anyone can do yoga and we use modifications so that everyone can be comfortable. Our classes are welcoming for beginners, while layering modifications for those with experience. The essence of our class is to ensure that we are getting fit while respecting our bodies and havin' fun. Please bring your own yoga mat, there is a water fountain but a personal water bottle is recommended.
April Baker has been teaching at Transcona East End Community club for more years that she would like us to reveal. She is a Can-fit Pro certified personal trainer, (PTS), CPR and AED, Yoga Alliance 200 E-RYT and 500 RYT, a Senior Master Trainer for Yoga-Fit Worldwide with additional specialty certifications in pre and postnatal, seniors, kids and trauma sensitive classes. She is currently working on her Yoga Therapy designation.
